Rob Runs 40 Miles in day!
Running for Nadia and PSC research

We are extremely thankful to Rob, his partner Nadia and their local community for undertaking this remarkable challenge and raising over £3,000 for PSC Support!
A challenge for a cause
My partner, Nadia, was diagnosed with PSC in November 2023. PSC is an extremely rare and life changing auto-immune disease which currently has no treatment and no cure. More research needs to be done into the disease to help find suitable treatment.
Why I took on this challenge
I wanted to help out and raise some much needed funds for PSC Support, a charity which has been a great source of information and assistance for Nadi. She has faced many challenges battling multiple auto-immune diseases for years now, but she has not let them slow her down. She’s an amazing mum to our two little boys, business owner and rock of the family. She is always putting other people first and always looks for the good in every situation.
40 miles, 90 laps, One Goal
On the 1st March 2025 I ran 40 miles around Laurencekirk Memorial Park. A loop of the park is 0.45 miles so I completed roughly 90 laps in total! It was a great day with loads of people coming and going all day cheering me on and also running a few laps with me and we got lucky with the weather!
A huge thank you!
I’m chuffed with how much we were able to raise, totally surpassing what I thought we’d do. Thank you to everyone for their incredible support. My legs were a bit stiff the next day but there’s not much time to rest with two small children, so we went for a bike ride which helped loosen my legs and spend quality time together as a family.
